Ukraine Envoy Testimony ‘Devastating’ for Trump, Giuliani Case, Fox News’ Chris Wallace Says

The rats are jumping from the sinking ship:

Fox News host Chris Wallace has warned that testimony from former U.S. special representative to Ukraine Kurt Volker is highly damaging to President Donald Trump and his attorney Rudy Giuliani.

Volker—who resigned from his role abruptly last week—testified to Congress this week about his involvement in Trump’s efforts to solicit Ukrainian interference in the 2020 election.

Volker provided an 11-page written opening statement setting out his role and his reaction to efforts by Trump and Giuliani to pressure the Ukrainian government—led by new President Volodymyr Zelensky—to investigate allegations of corruption against 2020 rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Wallace said Friday that the statement was “quite devastating to the president and Rudy Giuliani’s case,” Mediaite reported.

If Donald Trump goes down, he’ll try to take everyone with him

This is why the possibility of the 25 amendment being invoked is realistic. Pence realizes that Trump will destroy him in a heartbeat. He’s done it to his closest allies. So why not him:

There are two ways of looking at Donald Trump’s astonishing response to the Democrats’ attempt to impeach him. Either Trump has finally lost the plot or else he has just guaranteed himself a stunning victory in next year’s presidential election. Whichever view is correct, both signal a rising sea of troubles for the US and the world.

Suggestions that Trump has no idea what he’s doing were reinforced by some unhinged behaviour last week. His ranting about traitors, spies and low-life at a White House event was utterly bizarre, reviving claims that he is unfit for office.

Donald Trump ‘Fawned’ Over Vladimir Putin In First Phone Call, Apologized Profusely For Not Calling Sooner

We will learn soon for a fact what some of us have suspected for several years now: Donald Trump is a Russian asset who does Putin’s bidding at will:

Donald Trump “fawned” over Russian President Vladimir Putin in their first phone call together and apologized profusely for not calling him sooner, a new report claims.

The call, which took place after Putin was accused of leading Russia in a campaign to interfere in America’s 2016 presidential election, has become part of a series of private conversations between Trump and world leaders that are troubling White House insiders, claims a new report from the Washington Post.

The report noted that some top aides have been “genuinely horrified” at Trump’s behavior and apparently off-the-cuff promises to these world leaders, including another to Saudi leadership that was accused of engineering the murder of American resident and Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Anthony Scaramucci: Trump is ‘a Traitor to the United States’

This is coming from someone who worked for the Trump White House. He is no Democrat. It gonna be tough for Trump apologists to dismiss these comments:

Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci did not mince words about President Trump on Friday, calling him a “traitor to the United States.”

Appearing on CNN, Scaramucci accused Trump of “disavowing his oath to the Constitution” for asking Ukraine and China to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden over their financial ties with the two countries during the Obama administration. Scaramucci, who served for only a very short time in the White House earlier in Trump’s term of office, labeling his actions “disgusting” and referred to the controversy as “systemic criminality.”

Volker docs bombshell: Top US diplomat said Ukraine aid was withheld ‘for help with a political campaign’

Another smoking gun:

Newly revealed text messages show that the top U.S. diplomat to Ukraine expressed concerns about the Trump administration withholding aid to the country for political purposes.

ABC News reports that the text messages were revealed as part of a document dump by Kurt Volker, who last week resigned as the Trump administration’s special envoy to Ukraine.

In the text exchange obtained by ABC News, Bill Taylor, the top U.S. diplomat to Ukraine, told a group of fellow American diplomats that “I think it’s crazy to withhold security assistance for help with a political campaign,” a reference to the Trump administration’s decision to put a hold on aid to Ukraine.

Columnist: Donald Trump is much worse than Richard Nixon. He may even have committed treason.

When Trump invited the Russians to interfere our elections in 2016 that was treason. Now he’s done it again by inviting help from Ukraine in trying to smear his potential rival in 2020. There is no longer a debate:

An enemy attacks us and our commander in chief doesn’t care? If this is true then I will use, for the first time, a word that distresses me deeply: treason. This isn’t just my view. Article 3, Section 3 of our beloved Constitution says: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”

The Russians attacked us.If the commander in chief who swore to defend us said it didn’t bother him, this is “giving them aid and comfort.” The Russians are surely gearing up for more mayhem in 2020, and what does Trump care? Treason.

Now we learn that Trump has leaned on foreign governments like Ukraine and Australia to dig up dirt that would help him politically. For all his dirty tricks, Richard Nixon would never have dreamed of doing that.

Trump is a man with no ethical compass or shred of decency. Worse than Nixon? Worse in every way. And worse than all the rest.

Another Poll Shows Majority Support for Impeachment

The American people continue to respond to the call for impeachment. It has been a dramatic increase from several polls. Now the politicians need to respond to the American people and do their jobs. This means a full impeachment process like Watergate. Currently, the leadership wants to limit the impeachment inquiry they do not truly support. We need to make them enthusiastic:

Support for impeaching President Donald Trump is growing.

…In the POLITICO/Morning Consult poll, 46 percent of voters said Congress should begin impeachment proceedings vs. 43 percent who said they should not. Eleven percent had no opinion. That support represented a 3-point bump from last week, when voters were evenly split.

The new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll comes as at least a half-dozen other media outlets have released surveys showing support for impeachment rising. The polls suggest that Democrats are gaining support for the impeachment inquiry as the Ukraine scandal unspools. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had resisted escalating the House’s investigations of Trump because of the political risks, but the latest surveys suggest the party is unlikely to bleed support from Democratic voters over the decision to challenge Trump head-on.

Donald Trump Congratulates the Chinese Communist Parties’ 70th Anniversary

Can we agree now that Trump is no patriot. How many times does he have to show? Not the least of which is taking orders from the ruler of enemy, Russia. In fact, we can argue Trump is anti-American:

President Donald Trump congratulated the People’s Republic of China for its 70th anniversary Tuesday morning. Senate Republicans were in no mood to celebrate.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) compared China under President Xi Jinping to a “modern version of Maoist China” and criticized the government for violence against pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong and placing Uighurs — a predominantly Muslim ethnic minority group — in internment camps.

Trump Suggested Shooting Migrants’ Legs to Stop Them at the Border

Can you imagine what this fiend would do if were allowed to remain in power for another 4 years. This country would look like North Korea:

Trump has privately mused that the barrier between the U.S. and Mexico should include a moat stocked with snakes and/or alligators, and asked his aides how much that would cost to execute. He also asked if the wall could be electrified, and in the spirit of Dracula, he wanted spikes at the top, painted “flat black,” that could tear into a person. (If Andrew Jackson is the amoral, historical villain that Trump hopes to channel, on the border it appears he’s looking back a little further and for someone a little “nastier.”)

In November 2018, Trump publicly backed off the idea that soldiers on the border should be able to shoot migrants if they begin throwing rocks, after claiming there’s “not much difference” between the two. But according to Davis and Scheer, he was still workshopping the thought in private: “Later in a meeting, aides recalled, he suggested that they shoot migrants in the legs to slow them down. That’s not allowed either, they told him.”

Conservative Commentator Ridicules Trump For Running The Most Incompetent Cover-Up In History

Top conservative commentator Charlie Sykes said Monday that Donald Trump and his defenders in the administration are running “one of the least effective cover-ups in history.”

He also trashed Republicans in Congress for humiliating themselves in their efforts to defend what are clear high crimes and misdemeanors on the part of the president of the United States.

Sykes pointed to performances by House minority leader Kevin McCarthy and GOP Rep. Jim Jordan – two blindly loyal Trump supporters – who crashed and burned in their first attempts to defend Trump’s criminal conduct.
