Twitter Deletes Sick And Dangerous Giuliani Tweet About COVID-19 Cure

Finally Twitter has taken action against the Trump mafia. They’ve been spreading dangerous lies for years now. They should have acted sooner. Lot’s more need to be done with the Trump lies being spread online:

After trying to get Dr. Fauci fired, Trump’s lying sycophants and lawyers are helping to spread dangerous lies about a treatment for COVID-19 in an effort to defend Donald’s bungled response to the virus, and his constant attacks on governors demanding help from the federal government.

Meditate grabbed the tweet pictured above before it was deleted by Twitter because it violated the platform’s rules.

It’s bad enough for Rudy to spread false information – that could lead to panic and death – about the unproven and untested drug hydroxychloroquine that Fox News TV hosts have been hawking as a possible treatment. But to use a tweet by Charlie Kirk, who is using lies posted by Jim Hoft, just compounds the lunacy of it all.

White House: Everyone Who’s Visited New York City Should Self-Quarantine

Anyone who comes within 6 miles of Trump should have their heads examined and then quarantined:

There’s deep concern about New York City and the metro area, said Deborah Birx, the White House Coronavirus Task Force response coordinator, where around 56 percent of all the cases in the United States are coming out.

“To everyone who has left New York over the last few days because of the rate of the number of cases you may have been exposed before you left New York,” Birx said.

Vice President Mike Pence then encouraged Americans from the New York City metro area to follow guidelines and avoid non-essential travel. Pence called on those that have traveled out of the metro area to elsewhere in the country “to self isolate for 14 days.”

“We have to deal with the New York City metropolitan area as a high risk area,” Pence said.

During the pandemic, Trump hasn’t been shy about verbally scorning New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who has been among the public officials taking the most aggressive action to fight the virus.

YouTube to reduce video quality worldwide to ease strain on internet networks

Oh, no:

Videos on YouTube will now default to standard definition for all users worldwide, a step down from the typical high definition that users normally see.

The move is aimed at easing the burden on internet infrastructure as lockdowns and other emergency policies have kept millions at home.

The global change, which was announced and began rolling out on Tuesday, is expected to last for approximately 30 days as millions of people around the globe stay home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement, YouTube said the move is meant “to do our part to minimize stress on the system during this unprecedented situation.”
Users will still be able to manually change to a higher resolution on a per-video basis, YouTube told CNN.

‘Don’t believe anything that the president says’: Wife speaks out after husband dies trying to take drug Trump touted

Trump is a mass murderer:

A woman from Arizona warned people not to trust President Donald Trump after her husband died from ingesting chloroquine phosphate, which shares an active ingredient with a drug the president has been touting.

Trump has claimed that chloroquine, which is used to treat malaria, could be effective in fighting Covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. While there have been initial indications that this medication could work, it has not been approved for this use, and experts say much more study is needed before drawing any conclusions about its efficacy and safety.

The woman and her husband took chloroquine phosphate, which is used as a fish tank cleaner, NBC News reported. While the woman survived, her husband was killed.

Coronavirus: Could loss of sense of smell, taste be early warning for COVID-19 infection?

Doctors may have zeroed in on an early warning for a potential COVID-19 infection.

There have been cases where people who are diagnosed with coronavirus have said that they were not able to smell anything before the COVID-19 determination, The New York Times reported.

The conditions are called anosmia, or the loss of the sense of smell, and ageusia, the loss of the sense of taste.

New study suggests how long coronavirus can stay on surfaces

The COVID-19 virus can persist in the air and on surfaces for hours, if not days, according to a new study performed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), CDC, UCLA and Princeton University.

Researchers and scientists found that the new coronavirus was detectable and stable on contaminated objects, suggesting that people could become infected in numerous ways.

The study attempted to mimic the virus being deposited from an infected person onto surfaces in household or hospital settings, such as through coughing or touching objects. Scientists investigated how long the virus remained infectious on those surfaces.

“The scientists found that severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was detectable in aerosols for up to three hours, up to four hours on copper, up to 24 hours on cardboard and up to two to three days on plastic and stainless steel,” the National Institutes of Health said.

Evidence suggests, according to scientists, that people may be spreading the virus without knowing.”Most secondary cases of virus transmission appear to be occurring in community settings rather than healthcare settings,” the study said.

Gay Facebook co-founder blasts Mark Zuckerberg for allowing Trump to lie in campaign ads

Another reason why Facebook must be broken up:

Gay Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes has blasted the company’s co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg for allowing President Donald Trump to run campaign ads with outright lies in them.

Late last month, Facebook announced that it will not subject politicians to its policies prohibiting “false or misleading content.” (It already had a 2016 policy of allowing public figures to lie if the speech’s “newsworthiness” and the public interest outweighed the risk of harm.)

Texas federal court finds Trump’s border wall emergency order illegal

The courts have been the only check on this administration. The politicians have failed miserably, so far:

Yesterday, a Texas federal district court handed a stunning victory to the county of El Paso in a lawsuit against Donald Trump.

The court found that the US president’s February declaration of a state of emergency at the border between Texas and Mexico injured the county’s reputation and exceeded his executive powers, holding that use of funds allocated for other purposes could not legally be used to fund the border wall.

“Defendants’ use of funds to build a border wall violates the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA),” the court wrote. Based on rules of statutory construction that dictate how to read laws about specific and general appropriations, Trump’s use of funds allocated for other purposes—such as drug law enforcement and military building—to construct the border wall was illegal, it held…

Russia is common thread between Trump’s Ukraine and Syria problems

This article gets what the press keeps missing. The betrayal of the Kurdish people people was about doing the bidding of Putin, who controls Trump. Just like the keeping of military aid from Ukraine directly benefited the Kremlin. There are also alternate motivations that not only benefit Putin but also help Trump’s agenda. Trump thought it would help his reelection chances by withholding military funds earmarked by Congress from Ukraine, to get dirt on Biden. But it was also in the interest of Russia. Let’s also remember removing U.S. troops from Syria is exactly what Putin wants since it gives him a free hand in the region. It’s also a gift to Turkey which recently made purchases of advanced weapons systems from Moscow:

Just as the furor over Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia investigation subsided over the summer, two new international storms engulfed the White House.

On Ukraine, President Donald Trump’s use of diplomatic pressure to damage a 2020 election rival have House Democrats poised to impeach him. On Syria, his green light for Turkey to attack American-aligned Kurdish forces has roiled Republicans, too.

The simultaneous spectacles may confuse average Americans who pay scant attention to foreign affairs. In fact, they contain a common thread.

In each case, the president has helped Vladimir Putin’s Russia, which has helped him for years with money and political support. They represent different chapters of the same story.

Rudy Giuliani under investigation in probe of his associates, CNN reports

Just like his predecessor, Michael Cohen, Giuliani will be going to jail. Don’t they ever learn? If you are loyal to Trump you will end up destroyed:

Rudy Giuliani — President Trump’s lawyer and a central figure in the impeachment inquiry threatening the president — is also under scrutiny in a federal investigation of two of his associates, CNN’s Evan Perez, Shimon Prokupecz, and Michael Warren reported Thursday.

According to the CNN team, prosecutors in the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York “are examining Giuliani’s involvement in the broader flow of money” involving Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman. Parnas and Fruman were arrested on charges of violating campaign finance law Wednesday as they tried to leave the country on one-way tickets.

The news means that, just as President Trump faces political jeopardy from the sprawling Ukraine scandal and House Democrats’ impeachment probe, the president’s personal lawyer — who is at the center of that scandal — is facing legal jeopardy himself.
