Donald Trump has turned the White House into a bribe factory

Donald Trump built a career on fraud and gangsterism. He is our first gangster president:

Now that The New York Times has gotten access to many years of Trump’s tax returns, we have new confirmed details about one particular aspect of his corruption — getting paid for political favors. In essence, he has turned the American executive branch into a giant bribery scheme. Wealthy people with business before the state stuff money into Trump’s pockets through his many properties, and in return he gives them the contracts or policy concessions they want.

How can 42 percent of Americans still support the worst president in our history?

One of the great enigmas in American history. But I conclude the obvious. Trump is a natural product of a two-party system that divides us in half. This was decades in the making. And it once again has us on the verge of a civil war:

There are also, of course, many Trump voters who are convinced that he is the lesser evil, because Biden is supposedly plotting to turn the United States into a “large scale version of Venezuela,” even while suffering from “dementia.” They claim Biden is a “puppet” of the far left, even though he opposes Medicare-for-all, the Green New Deal, a ban on fracking, defunding the police, expanding the Supreme Court and other progressive ideas.

The very fact that so many are so willing to believe such balderdash about Biden — a lifelong centrist who remains far more articulate and coherent than Trump — is a worrisome sign of how cut off from rational, factual discourse so much of the country has become. Many voters are still supporting Trump because they’re living in a hermetically sealed disinformation bubble that is impermeable to reality.

Landslide: Biden is Pulling Away from Trump

That lead gives him a comfortable advantage in the electoral college.

So all the Republicans can do is to try and steal the election. Won’t work.

Trump is Struggling in the Battleground States

And it’s not helping that the Trump cannot convince judges of his lame anti-mail-in ballot conspiracy theory:

On the campaign trail and online, President Donald Trump is pushing debunked and unsupported claims that mail-in voting leads to widespread fraud. But in court, far from the bluster of his rallies and Twitter rants, a growing number of judges have examined the evidence he’s presented to back those claims and found it unconvincing.

But at least the Taliban have Trump’s back. BTW, these are the same people that got paid by the Putin/Kremlin to kill American soldiers. So it makes sense.

Black man led by mounted police while bound with a rope sues Texas city for $1 million

This happened in 2019 not 1919. Jim Crow is obviously not dead yet.

A Black man who was led by mounted police down a Texas street while bound with a rope last year is suing the city and its police department for $1 million, court documents show.

In August 2019, Donald Neely was arrested on criminal trespass charges in Galveston, just outside of Houston. Images and video of his arrest, during which two white police officers led him down the street handcuffed with a rope tied to their horses, sparked outrage.

The charges against Neely were dropped. But this wasn’t about justice. It was about brutalizing a black person. The cops involved won’t be punished. But the taxpayers will be since they will pay the $1 million.

Wisconsin Shooter is a Trump Supporter

Surprise, surprise. Once again a Trump supporter is involved in attacking innocent people. An evil man inspires evil people:

The police were in complicity.

Black Man Survives an Attempted Lynching in Indiana

This is Trump’s America where black people are under attack. He is trying to turn the clock back to a time when lynching was commonplace. This man survived because others with cameras intervened:

Saturday just before 7:52 p.m. Vauhxx Booker, a prominent voice for civil rights in Bloomington, and member of the Monroe County Human Rights Commission, said he called 911 after being assaulted, and that the DNR came to the scene, but refused to arrest his attackers. Booker said he was pinned to a tree, and a group of men threatened to break his arms, and made the statement “get a noose,” while telling Booker’s companions to leave the area. Booker said the individuals, who had Confederate flags, and made statements about “white power” claimed he and his companions had trespassed on private property.

“I don’t want to recount this, but I was almost the victim of an attempted lynching. I don’t want this to have happened to me or anyone. It hurts my soul, and my pride, but there are multiple witnesses and it can’t be hidden or avoided,” said Booker.
