The U.S. government is warning state governors that foreign hackers are carrying out disruptive cyberattacks against water and sewage systems throughout the country.
In a letter released Tuesday, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan warned that “disabling cyberattacks are striking water and wastewater systems throughout the United States.”
The letter singled out alleged Iranian and Chinese cyber saboteurs. Sullivan and Regan cited a recent case in which hackers accused of acting in concert with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards had disabled a controller at a water facility in Pennsylvania. They also called out a Chinese hacking group dubbed “Volt Typhoon” which they said had “compromised information technology of multiple critical infrastructure systems, including drinking water, in the United States and its territories.”
“These attacks have the potential to disrupt the critical lifeline of clean and safe drinking water, as well as impose significant costs on affected communities,” the letter said.

The United States has approved and delivered on more than 100 arms sales to Israel since October 7, US officials recently told Congress in a classified briefing, according to a Washington Post report on Wednesday.
Citing unnamed US officials, the report said the sales included thousands of precision-guided munitions, small-diameter bombs and other weapons. They did not need to first be approved by Congress as the cost of each sale fell below the minimum amount that would require them to be considered, according to the report.

Arab Governments will Fall from Inaction on Gaza Genocide
Just as bad as U.S. complicity in the Israel’s slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza, has been the inaction of Arab/Muslim governments. They’ve been either been bought off or are afraid of taking on Israel. But what they fear the most is the people they rule over, usually through violence and oppression. What they don’t understand is that failure to come to the aid Palestinians will probably mean overthrow of their governments, a new ‘Arab Spring.’ The Arab populations are incensed by murder of the Muslim Palestinians by the Israelis with the help of the U.S. It will lead to an upheaval that will disastrous consequences for all us.
