Israel Trying to Drag U.S. into War with Iran

It’s no longer a secret that Israeli Prime Minister Benajamin Netanyahu is trying to prolong, and expand, the war with Hamas as a way to save his career and skin. There is an argument that can be made to suggest Netanyahu wanted war with Hamas as way of avoiding being forced from office and going to jail for corruption. When the World began to revolt against the heinous bombing of Gaza Netanyahu, and his equally monstrous partners in the government, they decided on a plan to force the U.S. to continue to finance their genocidal war against Gazans. Why not attack Iran and when they retaliate it will mostly likely bring America in to join the fight. It would be a win/win for Israel since Biden lately has been demanding the Jewish state stop it’s genocidal mess in Gaza. If Iran attacks U.S. forces then all is forgotten. America would be forced to join the proxy war with Iran, since Hamas is funded by Tehran. And there is potential all this could lead to WWIII since Russia supports Iran, Hamas:

If Iran attacks Israel Joe Biden will come running to the Jewish state’s defense. That’s what war criminal Netanyahu wants. Biden will oblige.

Al Jazeera does the best reporting on Israel’s crimes:

Netanyahu has both a political and a personal stake in all this. A drawn-out regional conflict would block or at least postpone any official accountability for his utter failure to prevent Hamas’s attack from happening in the first place and could also put his multiple indictments on corruption charges on an indefinite hold.

Jacobin:

Look it up and you’ll find next to no coverage in the US media about top Israeli officials visiting Washington this week to push for military strikes against Iran, raising the risk of sparking war. Yet that’s exactly what happened.

It was widely reported in the Israeli press this week that defense minister Benny Gantz and top spy chief David Barnea were meeting with Biden administration officials on Thursday to push for a more aggressive US policy against Iran, as fraught negotiations resumed this week over restoring the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), or Iran nuclear deal, that was signed in 2015. According to reports, Gantz and Barnea pressed US officials to back up the push to reenter the deal with a show of force in the form of harsher sanctions and even strikes on Iranian targets.
