Israel is Nervous about Genocide Charges Sought by South Africa

Let’s not forget former president, Jimmy Carter, talked about Israel’s oppression of Palestinians years ago. And it’s gotten worse since then.

Francis Boyle is the world’s foremost expert on war crimes trials:

Democrats are Complicit in the #GazaGenocide

The U.S. government has decided that the buckling to the powerful pro-Israel lobby rather than speaking out against the genocide being perpetrated by the IDF. The Israeli military is committing these acts with American tax dollars, which makes it all the worse. That means the U.S. government has leverage to stop it. Instead they are sending more bombs. That means Congress and the White House are complicit in the crimes committed by the Israeli military in Gaza:

Biden is even bypassing Congress to help the Israelis with more arms. He doesn’t give a damn about American public opinion:

Israel is not Hiding it Seeks Genocide in Gaza

There is genocide going on in Gaza against the Palestinians because that’s what they want. They aren’t even hiding it. They do it because they can. No one is stopping them. The only country that could stop them, the U.S. government, instead of demanding it stop is instead giving them the bombs to do it with. They also prevent the UN from taking action by vetoing votes that would put it to an end.

Israeli society is full of individuals like this using the language of NAZIs:

Student Expelled from Florida School Because of Mother’s Pro-Palestinian Posts Online

Here we have another example of the intolerance against people who express support for the Palestinian people and their plight in Gaza:

CNN:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations has requested the US Department of Education investigate the expulsion of a Palestinian American high school student over pro-Palestinian content his mother posted on social media.

Jad Abuhamda, 15, was expelled on November 19 from the Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and his mother, Dr. Maha Almasri, was fired from her position as a math tutor at the school after she made posts criticizing Israel’s “collective brutality” against Palestinian civilians and children in Gaza during the ongoing war, CAIR said in a Wednesday news release.

The private school issued a statement saying they considered Almasri’s social media posts to be “hateful and incendiary,” which Almasri has denied.

“We viewed some of this individual’s posts — including, for example, an image of a soldier pointing a machine gun at an infant inside of an incubator and an image with commentary suggesting that some wanted to roast babies in an oven — as having the possibility of inciting hatred and creating a climate of fear,” Pine Crest School said. “Her behavior was also such that the School believed it could increase the risk of violence in our community and compromise the safety of our students, employees, and families.”

Almasri told CNN her posts were taken out of context and her son has been subjected to wrongful treatment.

CAIR Florida managing attorney Omar Saleh said during a Thursday news conference they have not received a response from the school to their letters requesting more information on why Jad was expelled.

Biden’s own Staff Call for Gaza War Ceasefire outside White House

Incredible.

Political appointees and Biden administration staffers held a vigil in front of the White House on Wednesday to call on President Joe Biden to support a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

More than three dozen people, including political appointees, administration staffers and civil service career staff, attended the early evening vigil in front of the White House. The participants wore sunglasses and masks to conceal their identities.

Protests against the genocide in Gaza come from every religious group and belief system, including Jewish. This is a humanitarian cause.

Video shows Access-a-Ride driver beating up disabled Brooklyn passenger

MTA is the worst:

A Brooklyn woman recovering from a stroke says she was assaulted by an Access-A-Ride driver and – although the attack was caught on surveillance video – she says she’s been unable to obtain the driver’s name in order to press charges.

The assault unfolded on the afternoon of Nov. 1, as Kisha Jones got out of a vehicle which was dispatched by CTG, a private company contracted by the MTA to transport disabled New Yorkers under the agency’s Access-A-Ride program. In the video, provided by Jones’ attorney, you can see the driver following Jones as she exits the van, and then he backs her into a parked truck and begins to kick her and grapple with her.

Federal judge prohibits separating migrant families at the border

The Biden administration hasn’t been exactly blameless in all this. They initially helped to perpetuate the heinous immigration policies of the Trump years:

A federal judge in San Diego has approved a settlement prohibiting U.S. officials from separating migrant families at the border. The settlement, reached in October, was awaiting approval. It goes into effect on December 11th.

The lawsuit was filed in 2018 by the ACLU. It sued to block the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy, which separated undocumented parents from their children when they attempted to cross into the United States.

Adults were sent to detention centers and minors to shelters. More than 5,000 families crossing the U.S.-Mexico border were separated, with no plan for reunification. Images of children alone in detention facilities generated outrage; the youngest child separated from their family was only 6 months old at the time.

The world’s wealthiest families got $1.5 trillion richer in 2023

The ultra-rich getting richer has been a consistent theme in 2023, with stock prices rebounding and the world economy tending to hold up better than gloomy forecasters had expected at the start of the year.

The world’s two richest men – Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos – have added over $150 billion worth of wealth alone, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index.
