Jussie Smollett was not Attacked. It’s a Hoax.

At the expense of being called names or receiving the usual internet hate and threats I’m going the speak the truth, even if it’s not politically correct. Obviously the press isn’t going to do it.

For starters there isn’t one shred of evidence that Smollett was attacked by anyone. There was a rumor that his ribs were cracked. Smollett said publicly at a concert that it did not happen:

“I was bruised, but my ribs were not cracked, they were not broken,” he said.

If you’re ribs were damaged you would not be performing on stage days later.

JS claims that the assailants–who btw were wearing masks–made racist and homophobic slurs at him. They even made reference to #MAGA

He later said they were yelling, “This is MAGA country” – a reference to President Trump’s campaign slogan.

This did not happen in Alabama. It occurred in Chicago. Doesn’t quite ring true. And if they were anti-gay slurs how did they know he was homosexual. Did they know who he was? Why no reference to his fame. In which case, they would have known he was gay.

He says he was not hospitalized (see video below), as news reports have claimed repeatedly.

Sadly only the right-wing press is asking questions.

So Smollett underwent a vicious beating by two attackers that apparently lasted less than 60 seconds, since that is the reported gap in surveillance footage between an image of him without a rope around his neck and an image of him with the rope. Smollett now says he fought back, but apparently he lost neither his Subway sandwich nor his cell phone in this brawl. Also he didn’t immediately call the police on that phone to describe the suspects and inform the police which way they had gone when they suddenly ran away from him, but instead waited about 40 minutes to inform the police.

Also Smollett for some reason thinks his lawyers are eager for him not to publicly discuss the case. Curious.

More right-wing but damning questions.

Jessie Smollett said he was assaulted and suffered a cracked rib but condo surveillance video shows Smollett walking past security to the elevator without telling them he had just been attacked by thugs who “beat the hell out of him” and “broke his ribs.”

…[JS] says he was talking to his manager during the assault but he won’t turn over his phone.

The Associated Press reported that police had released images of “persons of interest” from surveillance camerafootage, but were unable to find footage of Smollett being attacked.

The persons depicted in the police video were said to be walking away from the scene prior to 1:45AM.

Usually after an attack of this nature the victim, especially if they are well known, are eager to speak to the press. Smollett has yet to speak to anyone. The statement that was read from the stage was written down. Very suspicious.

And JS is not a stranger to suspicious claims of hate directed at himself:

A week before he says he was attacked by two men yelling slurs, “Empire” star Jussie Smollett reported receiving a small white envelope addressed to him in a thick red scrawl at the Fox production studios on the West Side.

Smollett told police he and the show’s executive producer used gloves to open the envelope. Inside was a sheet of white paper with a threat in cut-out letters: “You will die black fag.” There was white power in the envelope, but it was later determined to be crushed acetaminophen, a pain reliever found in Tylenol, police said.

Racial violence against African-Americans is a real epidemic. We should all fight bigotry and racism. But the false allegations of racial and anti-gray hatred sets back the struggle to rid our society of such hate. Jussie Smollett is lying. Why we can only speculate at this time. His false allegations plays into the hands of those who spread the propaganda that cries of racism and homophobia are exaggerated. The mainstream press deserves blame as well for refusing to ask the obvious questions of a hoax for fear of being called names. Political correctness is not journalism. And you are not fighting bigotry by not calling out someone who is using that bigotry for some kind personal advancement.
